Thanks to Jan, we were all decked out and ready to celebrate "talk like a pirate" day. For those of you preparing to celebrate on the official day of September 19, you will know that we had to celebrate a few days early on September 15th. Somehow, it was way more fitting to celebrate early while on the boat instead of making a scene on the train ride to Paris on the 19th.
You've seen on yesterday's post, that we dressed in pirates' gear. There were lots of "shiver me timbers", "give me that grog, wench", "aarrgh", "ahoy there, mates" and threats of having to walk the plank. We regaled those in passing boats, and even brought it to our elegant dinner.
